SAM is pround to be connected to our beloved Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC US Army Base. The base trains about 35,000 soliders per year in Basic Combat Training. There are many programs in place to help our military family stay intact and intouch Fort Jackson.

                       A Soldiers Prayer                     Lord, I'm up before the break of day, with sleepy eyes I began to pray, refresh my spirit without delay. My life begins and end with you for you are my courage and you will see me through, no matter what the day brings I am with you.

My brother went Navy, my cousin went Marines, my friend went Air Force and I went Army!  That's me as a newbie at Ft. Jackson in the 80's, fresh out of high school with a desirer to serve my country. The military service holds a special place in my heart, I met my husband and have been apart of the military family life for over 22 years.
